I am the photographer behind Jacky Rose Photography.
I am a wife, a mama, and I absolutely love celebrations!
I specialize exclusively in cake smash photography. Helping parents celebrate their babies first birthday with joyful, timeless images. My approach is calm, patient, and baby-led, ensuring sessions feel relaxed and enjoyable for everyone involved.I believe first birthdays deserve to be celebrated in a meaningful way, and I'm honoured to help families capture this milestone.
Cake smash sessions take place at my commercial studio located in Kanata.

Natural or Studio Light? Studio! I use an alienbee 800 paired with my very large 86inch PLM with black outer cover & white front diffuser. Trust me, its BIG! 🙂

Favourite backdrop? I love our Minty Pink Party theme for girls Cake Smash Sessions!
Pet peeve? Probably my obsession with green frog tape! I use it for everything! Including taping up my vinyl backdrops. But it drives me crazy because its lime green! Step into my studio, you’ll see some green 😉
